NTUTEC is the operational hub of NTU's entrepreneurship ecosystem. Its core mission is to connect NTU, industry, and capital so NTU technologies and talent can move toward market-ready startup pathways.

Through NTU Accelerator, NTU Garage, corporate vertical accelerators, and NTUTEC Angels Club, we support startups from technical validation to market entry.

Director of NTUTEC. Full Professor at NTU Department of Information Management. Former Director of NARL Science & Technology Policy Research Center, Associate Dean of NTU College of Management, and Chair of NTU IM.

CEO of NTUTEC. Former Vice President at Tencent and JD.com; NTU EMBA. Leads day-to-day operations, strategic direction, investment decisions, NTUTEC Angels Club, and startup incubation planning.

Our journey

NTUTEC grew from a shared campus entrepreneurship space into a center connecting university, corporate, investor, and international resources.

2013

NTU Garage launches

Established NTU Garage at NTU Shiyuan Campus as a shared entrepreneurship space for students, building the foundation of NTU's entrepreneurship ecosystem.

2014

NTUTEC officially established

National Taiwan University officially established the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center as a university-level unit under the Office of Research & Development.

2016

NTU Challenge campus competition

Co-hosted NTU Challenge with the College of Design, combining education, mentorship, and competition to discover campus entrepreneurship potential.

2017

NTU Accelerator launches

Launched the NTU Accelerator, providing growth-stage startup teams with market validation, business model iteration, and fundraising resources.

2019

Corporate vertical accelerator programs

Expanded corporate vertical accelerator programs where corporations define challenges and startups solve them. Cumulatively partnered with 35 companies.

2020

Corporate innovation consulting

Launched corporate open innovation consulting services, helping medium and large enterprises adopt startup thinking and agile innovation methods.

2022

Co-Creation Sandbox

Launched the Co-Creation Sandbox membership program, providing startups with a product and market validation environment.

2026

Four focus areas

Focusing on AI software, biotech and healthcare, hard tech, and innovative business models.
