Program Overview

The NTU Accelerator, launched in 2017, is designed for startups that have moved beyond early exploration and are ready for a more demanding rhythm. It is not a badge or exposure event; it is a ten-month process for clarifying evidence, milestones, corporate partnership conditions, and investor-facing materials.

Program Schedule

The annual cohort moves from diagnosis to validation, scaling preparation, and Demo Day.

Diagnosis & Positioning

Months 1–2

Clarify current evidence, major risks, and the milestone that must become clearer during the ten-month cohort.

Validation & Iteration

Months 3–5

Use customer interviews, usage data, PoC progress, or revenue signals to test which direction should be narrowed.

Scaling Preparation

Months 6–8

Organize repeatable sales, deployment, operations, and financial evidence for corporate or investor conversations.

Demo Day & Graduation

Months 9–10

Turn accumulated evidence into a clear external story for investors, enterprises, and next-stage partners.

Criteria

Application Requirements

NTU affiliation not required; applicants with NTU student, alumni, or faculty background receive priority
Completed MVP or prototype development with initial users or revenue
Team of at least 2 members, fully committed to the startup
Clear market opportunity and growth potential
Willing to commit to a ten-month systematic mentorship program
No industry restrictions, but must demonstrate technological or model innovation
